The first Pixar animation

This video created a lot of buzz lately, but after researching a bit I came to conclusion that it's not fake. In 1972 Ed Catmull (founder of Pixar) and his workfellows produced the world's first 3-D rendered animation (demo real of cutting-edge computer animation), an recreated digital version of Ed's left hand.
